With the season coming to an end, our organic vegetable garden is looking a little messy.

The once monstrous zucchini plant has withered and died. Handfuls of half eaten tomatoes, along with clusters of mushrooms and weeds, litter the garden beds.

Dead and dying leaves hang from our tomato plants.

Before things get much worse (or more things die), it’s time for us to roll up our sleeves and do some tidying up.
