Get Your Garden Set for Spring Planting

After a mild winter, spring is springing in Chicago and it’s time to get back into the garden. The Organic Gardener Jeanne Nolan is joining us for a new season of growing in the Chicago Tonight garden.

This year, we’re focusing on popular, tried-and-true crops that reliably yield plenty of veggies for a summer’s worth of snacking – but before we get growing, we’ll talk about how to get the garden back into shape for the new season, from aerating the soil to amending it.

And if you’ve decided to dig into gardening for the first time this season, find everything you need to get started here.

Viewers will once again have the say in what we grow for 2017.
