Candidate Statement

Hi, my name is Ashley Ramos and I’m a candidate to be the next United States House Representative for District 2 of Illinois. I’m a proud mother, lifelong resident of Illinois and community advocate. We have seen an unprecedented change in our country. An erosion of our rights and suppression of our freedoms. I am the candidate to fight for those liberties, and stand firmly in defense of the Constitution.

I’ve spent the last two years doing non profit work supporting police and other first responders, helping rebuild relationships within communities and creating a positive outlook for the future. I believe in the strength and bond of communities and have witnessed the improvements that come from communication, empathy, teamwork, and determination. This interaction has helped me solidify my passion to be servant of the public and always be advocating for the constituents of my district.

To create a new beginning in representation and beat Robin Kelly, the Republican Party needs an energetic and viable candidate. Willing to put in the work and be the voice of the people. I do not bow to tyranny, and I will not stand for government overreach. A new era of strong patriotic advocacy is on the rise and I intend to be part of its forthcoming.

Robin Kelly has had the opportunity over multiple terms to make a lasting impression, and she has the impression of lackluster involvement, higher taxes, crime, and little hope for a better future. Doing nothing to advocate for small businesses during shutdowns or for parents fighting mask mandates. I am going to change that, and be the competitive candidate for this election. To be the representative of transparency and security of the blessings of our inalienable rights. Please vote for me, Ashley Ramos in the primary and general election. Take care and God bless.
