A measles case is reported at Chicago’s largest migrant shelter, leaving those who aren’t vaccinated for the infection to shelter in place.

The Illinois General Assembly votes in favor of the Chicago Teacher Union-backed pitch for a hybrid elected school board, which would allow Mayor Brandon Johnson to appoint 11 of the 21 members.
