When is Cardinal George going to start Excommunicating politicians who call themselves Catholic, but have a political agenda which violates the Catholic Faith? These Politicians should not be allowed to call themselves Catholic in public. This sends the wrong message to children who are going through Confirmation preparation and hear the officials their families helped elected have views separate from the Catholic Church. It is fine if the politicians have their own agenda, but they shouldn't be allowed to present themselves as Catholic while doing so. A politician who says he is Catholic and only attends Mass on occasions is not a Catholic, it is more like a part-time Catholic. I wonder if he is a part-time Democrat too. If he was brought up in Catholic school, he must have forgot what he learned. Did he ever make is Confirmation? If he did, he should renounce his faith for his Democrat views. He can not serve two masters.
