Boeing’s 737 Max headaches continued Wednesday with news that an Irish company that buys and leases airplanes is suing the Chicago-based aerospace giant.
Bloomberg reports that that company, called Timaero Ireland Limited, is seeking to void contracts to purchase almost two dozen 737 Max aircraft and also is demanding at least $185 million in damages. The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Chicago, cites design flaws that led to two deadly crashes of the plane.

McDonald’s has just signed a supersized order to get into the mobile-payments game.
The fast-food giant is partnering with a Dutch firm called Adyen to accept mobile payments. McDonald’s currently lets customers order food and pay via an app.
But the new deal with Adyen will allow cashless payments across a broader range of technologies and in local currencies. The Adyen partnership will launch in McDonald’s U.K. restaurants and then will expand to other countries.
And finally, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is giving $4.5 million to a Chicago-based nonprofit that helps prepare low-income high school students for an education after the 12th grade.
It’s the biggest single donation ever received by OneGoal, a 12-year-old organization that was founded in Chicago and now also operates in Houston, New York, Atlanta, San Francisco and Massachusetts.
