An estimated 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and within 30 years, that number is expected to more than triple.
The memory depleting condition has been the subject of research for many years. But there’s only one long-range comprehensive study that has tracked thousands of participants who have all agreed to donate their brains to science. And that research is centered in Chicago.
