Radio Host Delilah Returns to Chicago Airwaves

Her melodious voice has been heard on radio stations across the U.S. since the mid-1990s, doling out heartfelt advice and a handpicked song to go along with it.

Delilah Rene – who goes simply by Delilah – is the self-described “Queen of Sappy Love Songs” and, after a recent break from radio, she’s back.

The love advice queen can be heard on Chicago’s NEW 93.9 LITE FM station on weeknights from 7-11 p.m.

Originally from Oregon, Delilah had a tumultuous upbringing and love life which later proved as the bedrock for her nationally syndicated talk show. The radio veteran has been in the business for over 40 years, though her interests extend beyond the airwaves.

In 2004, Delilah started the nonprofit Point Hope, which serves special needs children in the U.S. and refugee children in Ghana. The radio host has adopted 10 children herself.

That same year, she also bought the rights to her own show.
