‘Hamilton’ Voices Rise at Women’s March on Chicago

Three Schuyler Sisters of Chicago’s “Hamilton” to Speak and Sing on Saturday

Hamilton” may be the story of Founding Fathers, but at its core are three sisters, the Schuyler Sisters, one of whom marries Alexander Hamilton and protects his legacy.

At Saturday’s Women’s March on Chicago, all three actors will address the crowd in speeches and in performance. They are the Tony Award-winner Karen Olivo, Samantha Marie Ware (“The Book of Mormon”) and Ari Asfar, who portrays Eliza Hamilton.

In September 2016, Chicago Tonight spoke with the trio before the Chicago opening of “Hamilton.” Watch the video above.
